Mentoring is an essential component of successful research, and CORE scientists provide mentorship for junior investigators throughout MMC. Mentors meet regularly with investigators to provide guidance on specific research projects and to foster professional development.
CORE staff also provide formal education through seminars and workshops on research methods, data analysis, and development of grant applications and manuscripts. CORE conducts an all day research course in the spring and a two-day research course in the fall for residents and fellows.
